Collection: Type One Diabetes Collection

My son was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes at age 5. He's now a thriving teen! However, in those early days, it was scary. There also weren't a lot of kid friendly medical alert designs or items to buy, so I designed them. 

The first products in my collections were magnets, to help parents show kids and teach them about things like what a syringe is, and why it's important to check your blood sugar. Kids in return could also play or rearrange the magnets on the fridge to help them get used to their new diagnosis. I also made sticker sheets to help parents stay organized with appointment reminders, but to also make it a little more fun for kids with my custom character designs.

Over the years, I've added things like my Happy Mail boxes, which are intended to be "pick me up gifts" for newly diagnosed adults or children from a family or friend. They have also been ordered as diaversary gifts to celebrate the strength and resilience that a Type One Diabetic must endure daily, year after year. 

I've also created digital coloring books for adults and kids, as well as medical alert or awareness items like stickers, keychains, and pins.
